At meminio we want your shopping experience to be as easy and enjoyable as possible. We therefore recommend that you read through our terms and conditions and if you have any questions regarding these, do not hesitate to contact us before placing an order.
Terms and conditions apply to the use of the www.meminio.com website. By placing an order with us you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions.
We may revise these terms and conditions at any time and any changes will take effect when posted on the website.
All copyright, design rights and intellectual property rights existing in our designs and products and in the images, text and design of our website / marketing material are and will remain the property of meminio. We will treat any infringement of these rights seriously.
In line with the GDPR guidelines which come into effect in May 2018, meminio operates a lawful basis for processing your data, for the processing of your orders we use the legitimate interests policy. This means we only collect from you the data which is necessary to process your order.
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): Our mailing list is handled by mailchimp, we will only send you these emails if you have signed up for our newsletter or ticked the box during the checkout process giving us permission to do so. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list by following the link at the bottom of any marketing email you receive. You can also email us at email@example.com and request to be removed.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
The contract of sale will exist between you and meminio once the order is accepted and a confirmation email is sent.
It is your responsibility to check that all details are correct on the confirmation email and to let us know if any details are incorrect.
meminio will endeavor to ensure that goods displayed on the website are available and in stock. However, in the unlikely event of a product being unavailable, we will email you and suggest an alternative or organise a full refund of any monies paid within 24 hours. Please allow 3-5 working days for funds to be available again in your account.
When placing an order you agree that all information given is accurate and complete.
We aim to display all prices and descriptions accurately on our website. We will inform customers immediately if any discrepancies or errors occur and we reserve the right to refund or cancel any order which is placed at an incorrectly displayed price.
Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.
Any cancellations need to be emailed to us ASAP to email@example.com. If you cancel your order before it is has been personalised or shipped out, we will refund the full cost of the order. If you cancel after the order has been shipped out we will refund the cost of the order minus the delivery fees. Customers will be responsible for the return postage costs and we will not be held liable for any loss or damage to returns. We suggest obtaining proof of postage or using a signed for service.
Goods will be delivered to the address provided when ordering. Please ensure this address is correct. The delivery period stated to you upon ordering is approximate and we cannot guarantee to deliver by a particular date, although we will endeavour to do so.
If you order goods from our Site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Refunds and returns
If you are not happy with your purchase you can return your goods for whatever reason, provided we get them back within 14 days of receipt, in perfect saleable condition and in original packaging. We will refund or exchange goods at our discretion. Sale goods are not eligible for a refund. Personalised items cannot be refunded.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. Delivery charge and return postage will only be refunded if the item is faulty. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to returned items, therefore recommend getting proof of postage and using a ‘signed for’ method of delivery.
Ex Display/sale items cannot be returned.
Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to returning any items, stating reason for return and whether you wish a refund or exchange. We will email you a returns code and will issue you a refund or replacement once we receive the goods back. Please allow 3-5 days for funds to be available once actioned by us.
Please be aware that colours on our website may vary slightly depending how your monitor is calibrated. We make every effort to ensure that the images of the products are a true likeness to the actual product you are purchasing, however we cannot guarantee a perfect match every time.
All sizes are approximate and due to the handmade nature of some of our products, slight variations may occur within sizes, patterns and colours. We are happy to refund or exchange if you are not entirely happy with your purchase (see returns policy)
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running as smoothly as possible, however meminio will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control, or also that the site or the server that makes the site available will be free of viruses or bugs.
We accept no liability for delays that may be caused by a delivery being delayed due to issues related to the carriage.
