Our once upon a time

Family memories are too precious to be hidden away.

The idea for meminio began with Marie. After losing her mum at a young age, she came to understand that the things we treasure most are rarely the most valuable—they're the keepsakes that hold our stories.

Years later, while clearing her grandmother's home, she discovered a vintage suitcase. She filled it with her own daughter's tiny shoes, first drawings and treasured mementos, creating a place where her story could grow. It became one of the most loved possessions in their home.

Around the same time, Marie met Ali. Ali had always been passionate about preserving memories and shared the same belief that life's most meaningful moments deserved to be cherished, not hidden away. What began as a friendship soon became a shared vision.

As we searched for a beautiful place to keep these precious memories, we realised it didn't exist. Families were storing keepsakes in cardboard boxes, plastic tubs or old suitcases, but there was nothing thoughtfully designed to store family memories that could be kept out in the home.

So we created it.

The memory case was born — an heirloom-quality home for life's most treasured keepsakes, designed to be opened, shared and passed down through generations.

Today, every product we create is inspired by that same purpose: to help families treasure not just the keepsakes themselves, but the stories, memories and moments they represent.

Because the things we keep become the stories we tell.
